What’s New from the World of Cannabis

What’s Delta-8? What you ought to know.

Discussing cannabis, you’ll likely run into the names, Delta-8 and Delta-9. Here’s some information about them.
Delta-8, Delta-9 and Delta-10 are different cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant. The cannabinoids bring different qualities that you’ll experience from cannabis products.
Delta-9 is the well-known cannabinoid that is potent with THC. It’s responsible for the “high” feeling you get from classic cannabis use.

So, what is Delta-8, and Delta-10 THC?
Delta-8 THC is found in the plant in much smaller amounts than Delta-9.
It’s less potent than Delta-9 THC. You can find it in some CBD products. The benefits include pain relief, reduced inflammation, and improved sleep.
Delta-10 is similar to Delta-8, as a milder cannabinoid than Delta-9. The effect can be mildly energizing and enjoyable.
It’s important to know that Delta-8 and Delta-10 THC is still classified as marijuana, and federally illegal. You’ll want to check your state laws on the legal status of these trending cannabinoids.

The Ohio Senate Committee is advocating changes that align closely with the voter-approved bill. Negotiations regarding possession limit, THC potency limit, home cultivation and taxes have delayed the bill from the Senate floor. The Ohio Senate Committee will discuss changes to the adult-use program into January or later.
